Royal Windsor Way overnight closures in September


The Royal Windsor Way (aka the relief road) will be closed overnight from 20:00 to 5:30 for much of September to perform essential maintenance work before the onset of winter.


Surface treatment work will be undertaken on both the northbound and southbound carriageways, including crack and joint sealing, and patching. In order to facilitate the work, overnight closures on the section of road between the B3024 Dedworth Road roundabout in the south and the roundabout at the junction with the M4 in the north will be in place from 8pm until 5.30am.   • Monday 4 Sept to Saturday 9 Sept (5 nights) on the northbound carriageway with the road reopening Saturday morning

  • Monday 11 Sept to Saturday 16 Sept (5 nights) on the southbound carriageway with the road reopening Saturday morning

  • Overnight closure on Monday 25 September of the southbound carriageway and associated slip roads

  • Overnight closure on Tuesday 26 September of the northbound carriageway and associated slip roads
