Entry to the Castle with your Advantage Card..

The Advantage Card offer at Windsor Castle has recently been reviewed and brought in line with other businesses in the borough.

From 1 January, a discount of 50% will be available for all Advantage Card holders.

In addition, for every adult Advantage Card holder who receives 50% off entry, one child up to the age of 17 will go free on production of the child’s Advantage Card – and any other children will receive a 50% discount on the child’s ticket price, again on production of the child’s card.

All Advantage Card tickets will be eligible for conversion into a 1-Year Pass, which then allows free re-entry to the Castle for a year. For 2025, this means that adult card holders can pay £15.50 and visit the Castle as many times as they like throughout the year.

The Royal Collection Trust adds the following information:-

Both the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and Royal Collection Trust are committed to making the Castle as accessible as possible to visitors from the local area, and are working together to commence additional initiatives that will offer free access to those in areas of greatest need. In line with the Royal Borough’s strategic priorities, these initiatives will include access for children in care, care leavers and foster families as well as a programme of free visits for community organisations working with under-represented groups, and a travel subsidy and access scheme for schools working with children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We have consulted closely with RBWM colleagues (thank you to those on this distribution list!) to make sure that we could continue to offer an option for local residents, while retaining consistency across the other sites that we manage and ensuring that we fulfil our charitable aim of delivering free or discounted access to areas of greatest need.

In addition, for an initial period of 1 January – 4 April 2025, we will be trialling a new £1 ticket to anyone (adults and children) in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Pension Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support or Jobseeker’s Allowance. There are no geographical restrictions to this, and up to six tickets per household may be purchased.

Our tickets for 2025 go on-sale from 5th November, with associated communications to follow.
