Planning permission has been submitted to replace and significantly improve the Sports Pavilion at the Eton Recreation ground. The primary user of the revamped facility will be Windsor Youth Football Club (WYFC) for under 11 football with the hope of creating a hub for under-11 football in the Borough including summer tournaments. WYFC are also experiencing a surge in interest for girls asking to play and these new facilities will cater for this. A 30% increase in floor area will allow the building to accommodate space for disabled facilities, classroom training, storage and parent waiting area.
