Eton Excelsior (EERC), Windsor and Eton’s own rowing club and the 3rd oldest in the country, proudly

announces its bicentenary regatta to be held on Sunday, June 28th 2026

EERC was founded in Eton in 1826 and has been a proud fixture within the local community ever since. Its

invitation event will celebrate 200 hundred years of rowing history in the Royal town.

The Regatta will be hosted at the club on its beautiful, home stretch of the river Thames between Bray and

Boveney locks. We will provide side-by-side racing over a course of 800m. The full-day event is designed to

attract athletes from local rowing clubs, providing them with a rare opportunity to race on the Thames close to

Windsor. A core focus of the regatta is to foster new rowing talent.
