The World Horse Welfare Trail

April 25, 2019

Some of you will be aware that Windsor will play host to two Art Sculpture trails this year.

We will be installing this week the World Horse Welfare Trails which will feature 10 miniature Horse sculptures located around the town centre.  The trail will be officially launched in May as part of the International Horse Show and will stay in position until 31 July.

There is a downloaded app for people to use and a competition to encourage visitors to collect the names of each horse.

Click here  for a map showing the locations of each of the sculptures.  This  will be a great attraction for the spring/summer season  for visitors.  Once the trail is finished the horses will be auction off with 25% of the profit   will go to the Riding for the Disabled to benefit the Wayside RDA and the Windsor and Ascot Driving Group.

The second trail will be of miniature Lions and is due to launch in August  and more details of this will be circulated later on this month.
