RBWM has been monitoring nitrogen dioxide at Keate’s Lane near the traffic signal since 2005 and the monitoring is ongoing and there has been no interruption. Historical data from this site shows concentrations below the limit value (40ug/m3) however in 2012 and 2013 they were close to the limit value. This increase may well be related to regional trends rather than local factors, however we can’t say with certainty. As shown in the data below concentrations in 2014, 2015, 2016 and now again in 2017 are still below the limit value.
The ongoing monitoring at Keate’s Lane is for nitrogen dioxide. The annual mean in 2017 is 30.2, well below the annual mean limit value of 40ug/m3. The one hour limit value is not exceeded because the annual mean concentration is below 60ug/m3. We do not monitor any other pollutant at this site although since 2016 we have been monitoring PM10 at Frascati Way site in Maidenhead where concentrations are below the limit values.
