Eton CEO wins award at Best Businesswoman finals

The Best Businesswomen Awards have announced their winners for 2021 at a Gala Final held at the Hilton Wembley.

Businesswoman Christine A. MacKay from salamandra.uk won the Silver Award for Best Boss in this prestigious competition which seeks to find the very best female business talent from across the UK and Internationally. After falling in love with animation as an innovative medium for B2B visual communications, Christine founded salamandra.uk, a highly respected and award-winning animation studio, back in 2014.

As of 2021, salamandra.uk is taking over the globe, with hardworking lizards based in Eton, Dundee, and San Francisco, and projects spanning over 17 industries.

Despite a global pandemic, the sheer resilience of female entrepreneurs shone through. All winners, selected by a panel of business experts, demonstrated a flair for entrepreneurship, tenacity, and determination. The Best Businesswomen Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of those women across a wide range of business categories and are open to any female business owner not just from the UK, but a new category for 2021, International Businesswoman, recognises women based anywhere in the world!
