Thanks to all the 38 volunteers who turned out on Sunday 29th April and did such a wonderful job of cleaning Eton!
They spent 2 hours collecting some 46 bags of rubbish from every area of Eton, from the Brocas, Meadow lane and South Meadow Lane on the West, to King Stable Street, Eton Square and Tangier Lane on the East and right down to 15 Arch Bridge as one leaves the main town to the North. As always, we had fun and the complimentary bacon butties and pastries supplied by the Christopher Wren accompanied tea and coffee as a welcome thank you after the hard work. A set of trophies and presentation cups, an ironing board and a blow torch were this year’s most interesting finds!!
